FEDERICO SIGALI.
Born in 1989 in Pietrasanta, Federico was raised in the "Little Athens" of sculpture: a lively and eclectic environment that gave him, since he was a boy, artistic and international acquaintances.
After a degree in Economics, he decides to immerse himself in the world of design, studying stone and marble processing techniques and experimenting with the creation of stone artifacts, which he presents for the first time at in Milano at Fuorisalone 2018, where he debuts with CAXUS, a collection of sculptural pieces of furniture where design gets away from industry, rediscovering high Italian craftsmanship.

FILIPPO FIORA.
Born in 1987, he graduated with cum laude in Architecture at Politecnico of Milano.
Following Gio Ponti's lessons to which the most resistant material in architecture is art, he soon understands that this process is always the same, from urban planning to the design of a shoe.
This paradigm pushes him to extend his creative investigation to multiple fields such as fashion, digital communication, photography, as well as Architecture and Design.

In 2020, Federico e Filippo, establish 13.1 Architecture & Decor Studio, whose name derives from the common date of birth, January 13th.
The union was born thanks to a shared aesthetic and a continuous and common research towards design and stylistic perfection.
The 13.1 aesthetic alternates pure architectural forms with increasingly sophisticated details, constantly creating new memorable settings.
